YouTube, the second largest
search engine and the largest video sharing website is on the verge of losing
her biggest child. T-Series, an Indian based music record label and film
Production Company that also has a YouTube channel since 2006 is soon going to
surpass PewDiePie (the current most subscribed channel on YouTube).
PewDiePie joined YouTube on April
29 2010 and on August 15 2013 PewDiePie became the most subscribed channel on
YouTube. Holding the position since 22 December 2013, the channel has more than
66 Million subscribers and over 18 Billion views on its channel as of September
2018.On the other hand T-Series joined YouTube on March 13, 2006 and in a
couple of months will become the largest channel on YouTube. The channel has
approximately 64 Million subscribers and over 49 billion views on its channel
as of September 2018.
In last 5 years and till date
PewDiePie has owned the crown of the largest channel on the internet. But the
rate at which both the channels are growing and gaining subscribers, it seems
that in a couple of months T-Series will be the largest channel on YouTube.
But lets not not forget that
PewDiePie was an Individual channel led by Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg from Sweden. Whereas T-Series is a large and
Independent production company that has many people working after each video.
PewDiePie is only person to unbox and introduce us the “Ruby Play Button”, he
has entertained and own many hearts. But as a matter of fact very soon T-Series
will be the “Most-Subscribed child of YouTube”.
