The Realme XT is the successor to the Realme X and it's going to make a history as the first smartphone to be released with a 64MP camera. Being a sequel to the Realme X, the XT is packing an AMOLED screen with the touch of an attractive glass design, it also inherits the quad-camera setup from the Realme 5 which was launched recently of the company.

 Realme XT, while belonging to the X Series, is more of a mixture between RealMe X(First Gen.) and the Realme 5 Pro. The XT keeps the sAMOLED screen and tradtional glass design but goes with a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera rather than a pop-up setup this time.

Then, the XT has the same Snapdragon 712 SoC as the Realme 5 Pro, and a Quad camera setup- a high-resolution primary(64 MP), an 8MP (ultrawide angle), a 2MP (macro lens), and a 2MP portrait snappers(Depth Of Field). But here comes the 'Boss' - the main camera, all new 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 Quad-Bayer sensor and that's among the largest to ever make it to a smartphone, much less in this price segment and also in the industry.

Talking about the selfie camera, it has upgraded too. It's the same 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor as found on the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro smartphones.

Realme XT starts at Rs 15,999. This is the price for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB variants are priced at Rs 16,999 and Rs 18,999, respectively. Realme XT first sale is on September 16 at 12 noon on Flipkart and Realme.com
